On the Main Residence Holiday Guided Tour, you’ll step inside their historic lakeside home, decorated in the understated holiday style of Eleanor Ford. Rather than over-the-top displays, Eleanor preferred gentle greenery, soft candlelight, and carefully chosen accents that created a warm and welcoming atmosphere while highlighting the home’s beauty.

As you move through each room, your guide will share stories of the Ford family’s traditions and gatherings, offering a glimpse into how Eleanor and Edsel celebrated with elegance, grace, and a focus on family.

This 50-minute tour includes stairs and is not accessible for those with mobility challenges. Tickets are limited, and advance registration is strongly recommended.

Ford House also offers a special Sensory-Friendly Cookies with Santa session designed for children on the Autism spectrum or those with other sensory processing needs. This version features a calmer environment, reduced capacity, lower lighting, but the same quality time with Santa.

Create a holiday memory your family will love. During Cookies with Santa, each child gets a briefvisit with Santa in a cozy, festive setting—no long lines or crowded rooms, just time to talk and take a few great photos.

Bring your camera to capture the smiles and laughter, then enjoy a freshly baked cookie before heading out to explore the holiday season at Ford House.
