Dining at Ford House
When you dine at The Continental at Ford House, located inside the Visitor Center, you'll experience an extraordinary meal while looking out on a fantastic view of Lake St. Clair.
Dining at Ford House blends modern American cuisine with the natural beauty of our historic lakefront estate. At The Continental, guests enjoy a seasonal menu that offers a creative twist on familiar favorites, complemented by a full-service bar with curated wines, craft cocktails, and local beers. Patio seating is available with beautiful views overlooking Ford Cove, weather permitting.
The restaurant is open for lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch, with both indoor and outdoor options. A children’s menu is offered as well, making it a comfortable choice for families.
For a more casual option, The Speedster—our quick-service coffee counter—features ready-to-go sandwiches, salads, snacks, desserts, and a full beverage menu including coffee and espresso drinks. High-top tables are available outdoors for guests who wish to enjoy their Speedster selections on-site.
You do not need a ticket to dine at either location, though many guests choose to enhance their visit by purchasing grounds admission or a tour of the historic house.
