Photography
The Media Library provides high-resolution images for editorial use by media professionals on assignment only. If you find that the existing images do not meet your needs, please contact us with your specific request, and we will do our best to accommodate your requirements.
Location Photography/Videography Guidelines

Photo & Video Policy
Inside the Main Residence and Auxillary Buildings
Photography using cell phones or cameras, without flash, is permitted during self-paced explorations and guided tours for personal use only. Commercial photography is not allowed on public tours. Large cameras, tripods, monopods, selfie sticks, and other photography equipment are prohibited inside Ford House. For everyone’s safety and enjoyment, group photos should be taken outside.
Outside Ford House
Using drones or unmanned aerial vehicles on Ford House property is prohibited. Aerial photography of Ford House requires written consent along with the drone operator’s Certificate of Insurance and FAA Drone Piloting License.
Professional Photography & Videography
Professional photography and videography are not permitted without prior written approval.
Photographers and videographers looking to host professional photo sessions for individual clients (i.e., senior pictures, family photos, wedding photos, etc.) may contact our Photography team to discuss options and payment.
Media/press photographers and videographers may contact the Communication & Engagement team to discuss possibly using Ford House as their location.
Please remember that the names “Edsel & Eleanor Ford House” and “Ford House,” along with the various logos and images, are registered trademarks and may not be used by outside parties without permission.
