Embark on the Nooks & Crannies Guided Tour at Ford House and discover the estate’s most secret spaces. This exclusive 50-minute guided experience takes you behind the scenes—through hidden staircases, up into the attic, through the infirmary, and down the rare underground tunnel that connects to the Power House. It’s a fascinating journey into areas not normally open to the public, offering a new perspective on Ford House’s history, innovation, and design.
What You’ll Experience

Know Before You Go
This 50-minute tour includes multiple staircases and narrow spaces. It is not wheelchair accessible and may be challenging for guests with mobility limitations. We recommend comfortable shoes and advance ticket purchase, as space is limited.
Tunnel Note: The underground tunnel is a unique part of this tour but may be closed on select days for preservation work. Please call 313-884-4222 to confirm tunnel access on your tour date.
